Description of the SCA Awards ------
The Sustainability Institute’s “Annual Sustainable Community Awards” event honors local heroes in the private and public sectors, as well as individuals from the community, whose efforts to bring about long-term, sustainable change in the Lowcountry are both visionary and inspirational. The event both serves as an annual fundraiser to support the Institute’s programmatic efforts throughout the year and as an opportunity to recognize the contributions of others who share our passion for environmental stewardship and creating healthy, vibrant and socially-durable communities.
